Ryukoku University International Exchange Program
Long-Term Overseas Study Program (for one year)
 The University has mutual student exchange agreements with 32 universities in 18 countries with an aim of nurturing human resources who can contribute to international society. Many students study abroad in these agreements.
At present, the University also has research exchange programs with seventeen universities and one institute in ten countries.

Full Support System
Tuition Fee Reduction and Exemption
The tuition fees of both universities are exempted.
Exemption of Lodging Expense, Aid to Secure Lodging, Scholarship System
 (Conditions differ according to the overseas country)
Credit-Exchange System
Ryukoku University recognizes transferred credits from all accredited colleges and universities as required credits for graduation.
It is possible to graduate within 4 years even if you go abroad for long-term study for one year.

Full Support for Privately-Financed Study Abroad
We encourage voluntary overseas exchange activities, exempt the tuition fees, and adopt the credit-exchange system for the students studying abroad at their own expense.
Short-term language study programs (for about one month)

Besides long-term overseas study program, various short-term overseas study programs in America and China are available.
Native speakers instruct the students to acquire the "practical" linguistic ability in this program.
Furthermore, to cultivate the ability of intercultural communication, plans for participation in local cultural events will be introduced into the programs.

There are various courses which students are able to decide the destination and length of stay for overseas study.

The University arranges the various systems and supports the students for studying abroad.
The International Center (International Section) serves as the base to support such overseas education.
The International Center (International Section) gives advice to the students about how to utilize the overseas education systems or their desires and plans.
