Nurturing Human Resources to Contribute Widely to Society Through Deep Insight into Humanity. The Faculty has six departments and five Program. These departments and courses adopt the cutting-edge curriculums and the flexible systems through which students are able to select the subjects according to their own target of study such as research for specialized fields and acquirement of broad knowledge. Furthermore, the following four courses are provided as electives. Aims to understand the culture of humankind as a whole through comparative study of thought, religion and culture in today's world of internationalization. Takes into account the necessity of religious education. Enables you to acquire research skills through exploration and research of historical documents and artifacts contained in the Omiya Library and historical sites within Kyoto. For study of practical English language Prepares voluntary overseas study through instruction of practical English conversation skills and cultural studies of English-speaking areas. For consideration of humanity from various viewpoints For survey of humanity through educational and sports activities
