		In the Axis of "Information", "Mathematics" and "Phenomenon", Developing Interdisciplinary Research Where Both Applied Mathematics and Informatics Come Together The Department provides instruction for students to acquire professional knowledge and skills of the field of mathematics, applied mathematics, and informatics. The curriculum is focused on three main areas including "information," "mathematics," and "phenomenon" which are closely related to one another. And the Department broadens students' outlook by providing lectures in the fields of humanities and sociology.
