2025年7月7日（月）から7月19日（土）まで、龍谷大学の海外協定校の学生を対象に、短期留学プログラム「R-STEP（Ryukoku Short-Term Experience Program）」を開催しています。今年は7か国から10名の学生が参加しました。７月17日（木）フィールドトリップ最終日には学生バディ共に宇治エリアを訪れました。10円硬貨にも使われている平等院鳳凰堂に行き、平等院では御朱印をいただきました。その後は、大学へ戻って金継ぎ体験、和菓子作り体験をしました。
以下、R-STEP参加学生のレポートを紹介します。

17th july – Uji

On the 17th July, we visited the Uji area of Kyoto. First, we visited Ujikamji-Jinja, where we looked at the shop, learnt about the shrines history and some of us purchased Omamori. After this, we had a tour of phoenix hall in Byodoin temple, where we learnt about the history of the hall and saw the giant Buddha statue inside, then we walked around the museum and Byodoin area. After this, some of us went for Ramen at one of the local restaurants. In the afternoon, we returned to campus and had classes in which we made our own kintsugi pots and wagashi sweets.

7月17日私たちは京都の宇治エリアを訪れました。初めに、宇治上神社に向かい、何人かはお守りを買うなどョッピングをしたり、神社の歴史について学んだりしました。その後は、平等院の鳳凰堂のツアーでは鳳凰堂の歴史や巨大な仏像を鑑賞するなどしました。そして、美術館と平等院エリア自由に歩きました。その後が、数人と地元のラーメン屋に行きました。午後には龍谷大学に戻り、金継ぎと和菓子作りの体験をしました。
