(Announcement) Update Regarding the Commencement of Vaccinations
As of July 7th (Wednesday), the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced that vaccinations at the University would likely start from August 9th (Monday). However, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has provided notification today that the commencement date will instead be after August 16th (Monday) due to the short vaccine supply. When the dates have been confirmed, details (such as how to make a reservation) will be announced on the Ryukoku University website and Portal Site. In consideration of this situation, those who have pre-registered for priority vaccinations, as well as those who have been considering getting vaccinated at the University until this time, may choose instead to be inoculated at a vaccination site or medical institution in their area of residence if it is possible to do so. Although vaccinations at the University have been significantly delayed, we will continue to provide updates so inoculations can begin as soon as the vaccine supply is received.
