Graduate School of Intercultural Communication

The Graduate School of Intercultural Communication aims to enable qualified specialists to recognize, understand and respond to the enormous social change caused by globalization. We also aim to open new frontiers for the relatively young academic field of “intercultural communication studies” through a wide range of research activities. The masters program offers a curriculum that enables students to cultivate highly advanced research and specialist skills essential for various occupations and to develop a wide vision of their academic topic. The goal of the doctoral program is to develop students’ advanced research skills based on scholarly wisdom so that graduates become independent researchers in the future.
